The Pittsburgh Steelers lost a heartbreaker to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night football, quite a letdown if you had Steeler tickets for that game. Fans in Cleveland no doubt took some pleasure in the win after another trying season for the Browns. Things are not looking great for the defending champs. They are looking up at the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North, with the Baltimore Ravens in the position to move up to second place in the division with a win on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to have to play great football and catch some good luck if they are going to be selling playoff tickets once the post-season gets here. This has been an up and down season for the Steelers, with the NFC North being shaken up by the upstart Bengals. After year’s of playing catchup with the Steelers and Ravens, now it looks like Bengals tickets could be the hottest in the division. They swept the division and have a firm hold on the AFC North post-season berth. The only hope for the Steelers, and Ravens for that matter, is getting the AFC Wildcard. Luckily for fans that have Steeler tickets this year the AFC is not as competitive as it has been. Should the Steelers win out, and shut up all the fans that have Ravens tickets for the final game of the season. When the Steelers take on the Ravens it is always bloodbath, and you can bet these teams will be playing hard to win that last game of the season. In fact that could decide who gets to sell NFL playoff tickets, so if you can get to the Steeler Ravens game on Dec. 27 then do your best to get there. If the Steelers can get hot they can salvage the season, and who know they might be selling AFC Championship tickets come January. The NFL season ain’t over for the Pittsburgh Steelers just yet, so get out to Heinz field and show your support.
Other NFL News
While the 2009 - 10 Steeler season hasn’t gone quite the way fans would have hoped, this has still been quite a year for NFL football fans. The biggest news of the year has probably been the unstoppable New Orleans Saints. Under Drew Brees they have been unbeatable, and they will be a force once the playoffs start. Look out for Saints playoff tickets if you are looking for a good time because they are going to be putting on a show. With the success of the team, finding Cheap Saints tickets has become a difficult, but not impossible, proposition.
In other news this is going to be the first time the Pro Bowl will be going down before the Super Bowl. Of course Super Bowl tickets are going to be the hottest ticket of the year, Steelers or no Steelers. But the exhibition game could get some added attention since it is before the season is over, so Pro Bowl tickets could end up being a very popular choice. So don’t wait too long and check the Football Playoffs Schedule to see just what you want to get into this NFL post-season.
